It’s Monday morning and I have my AA uniform on and am getting ready to go back to work!
The weekend went quite well. We danced a short number on Friday night where I got my “sea legs” back. I felt I did extremely well on Saturday night when we did our lengthy medley of 4 separate choreographies back to back. Didn’t stumble at all or get dizzy till after we were off stage. At that point, I was dizzy and stumbled like a drunk a bit but that soon passed. It was frustrating that I couldn’t really participate in the master classes during the day…I was getting dizzy in Suhaila’s class if I tried to do too much and I was worried about that evening’s performance so I rested a lot and took it easy. Considering it was 4 days in a row where I spent 12-15 hours working/dancing the convention, I was able to take it easy more than I ever have in the past and my personal stress didn’t get too elevated. I let other people worry about some of the biggest issues!
Anyway, I feel pretty good today and am a bit anxious/excited about getting on a plane again. I fly a turn around, one day trip, today and tomorrow. I’ll let you know how it goes!
Denise, glad you are back at work. I’m sure that helps you feel more ‘normal’ again…whatever normal is 😉
What changes have you made to your diet since your diagnosis? Any ground-breaking personal discoveries?
